Lola's Shrub Drinking Vinegars

Made to be mixed,
and mix to taste

Add to sparkling water, tea or lemonade; dress a prosecco or splash in champagne. They make fantastic cocktails. You can use them as a base for dressings or marinades. Drizzle on ice cream, fruit or cheese. Shrubs are fun to make, so you should have fun in the kitchen.

Lola’s Shrubs are available only at our retail location in Wellfleet.

Our 10 fl.oz. vacuum-sealed bottles are shelf-stable for nine months, so you can stock up on the limited, seasonal varieties to enjoy throughout
the year.

LOLA’S SHRUB DRINKING VINEGARS are all
natural, made with ethically grown fruit or vegetables, sweetened with organic evaporated
cane sugar and nuanced with complementary vinegar. Citrus, spices and other aromatics may be added to accentuate the taste.

Simultaneously tart and sweet, these concentrations amplify the flavor of the ingredients with refreshing depth and complexity; they surprise and wow the first-time taster. Handcrafted and small-batch bottled with seasonally available produce, much of it from Barnstable County farms and local growers. Vinegars used may include red or white wine, apple cider, balsamic or champagne.

Rose Farm Rhubarb Shrub

The Rose rhubarb was brought to Truro from Portugal in 1864, and the Rose family continues to cultivate this special family heirloom, J. is also adept at extending its season so all of Lola’s rhubarb products are made with this incredible fruit—lucky for us. Also contains white wine vinegar, evaporated cane sugar and lemon juice.

Blueberry Basil Shrub

Wild Maine blueberries and fresh basil are a delightful combination. Vinegars vary depending on the taste of the fruit; might be red or white wine, perhaps a balsamic. We also make Blueberry Lemon without Basil.

Foraged fruit from the dunes of Cape Cod (gathered by a very gentle soul), raw cane sugar, red wine vinegar, allspice. Lola’s dearest. Some editions are made with white wine vinegar and cinnamon.

Small sweet cukes, raw cane sugar, white vinegar and fresh dill. Tastes like your grandmother’s pickles. A refreshing summer tonic in sparkling water, or perfect drizzled on oysters. Intensify your tzatziki, add another dimension to potato salad.
